The LSAT

If you are unable to take the LSAT on the date for which you are registered, you have three options that will remove the test date from your file.

• You may request a change to another date within the current testing year, which runs from June 2012 through February 2013. (If you are registered for the February 2013 exam, you may change only to the June 2013 test.)
• You may withdraw your registration for a partial refund.
• You may withdraw your registration after the refund request and date change deadlines through your online account.

Deadlines do apply.

NOTE: If you register for a specific LSAT administration during the regular registration period, you are not eligible for late registration for that same administration. Once you have registered for a test during the regular registration period, you may not withdraw your registration and reregister for that same test during the late registration period.

If You Miss the Deadline

If you do not request a refund, change your test date, or withdraw your registration by the stated deadlines and do not take the test, your LSAC file will note "absent." The "absent" notation is not a score of zero, nor will it be factored into any reportable scores on file.

You need not contact LSAC, as the test registration cannot be removed from your file after the refund/test date change/withdrawal deadlines have passed. You will have to pay the full registration fee if you register for another test date.
