at UF Law is to actively try to fill our classrooms with a group of students of diverse race, religion, class, belief system, and
sexual orientation. Applicants are encouraged to describe their diverse backgrounds and multicultural skills in their Diversity
Statement. More specifically, organizations like OUTLaw, Pride Student Union (PSU), and Gator GSA provide lesbian, gay,
bisexual, and transgender students and their supporters an outlet to express and discuss their views. Members work to
increase community awareness of issues relating to gender and sexual orientation and hold regular meetings and numerous
awareness events throughout campus.
