Additional Information

The Charlotte School of Law is proud to support our community of LGBT students, staff, faculty, and administrators. We encourage prospective students to disclose their sexual orientation on the law school application so that we can get to know and better support them through the process.

We have an active LGBT Legal Society that is engaged in the community and participates in college fairs for LGBT students, the AIDS Walk, and other initiatives to support the LGBT community. Recently one of our students was appointed to the ABA Law Student Division LGBT Congress, which we are very excited about.

Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and is quickly becoming one of the friendliest and most supportive places for the LGBT community in the region.

If you have specific questions about the LGBT community in Charlotte or at the Charlotte School of Law, please feel free to contact someone at the school who will be able to answer your questions or who will direct you to the appropriate contact.
