Nondiscrimination Policy

In addition, Cooley abides by American Bar Association Standard 211(a), which provides that "a law school shall foster and maintain equality of opportunity in legal education, including employment of faculty and staff, without discrimination or segregation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability."

Additional Information

Our institution has an active LGBT student organization that is part of our student diversity subcommittee. The climate for LGBT issues and students is very open and positive. Over the years, we have enrolled several LGBT students who have been active with the Gay Rights Alliance.
