Mission: To educate concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender legal issues; to facilitate discussion/reflection regarding such topics in a positive and productive learning atmosphere; to promote a law school environment free from discrimination, bias, and intolerance.

To achieve such goals, organization activities will involve:

• Discussion on relevant media/political topics concerning homosexuality
• Presentations by lesbian/gay speakers from various areas of the legal profession
• Trips to the state capital to discuss with politicians various issues facing LGBT individuals in Minnesota
• Travel to establishments such as the Minnesota Human Rights Campaign headquarters, Outfront Minnesota, Lavender Bar Association, and legal departments of public and private institutions to learn more about legal issues facing LGBT people
• Mentorship opportunities with LGBT attorneys/judges
• Opportunities to collaborate with LGBT law societies from other law schools
• A warm atmosphere based on support and appreciation for the differences LGBT individuals bring to society
• Occasions to educate others regarding LGBT issues

This organization is open to LGBT and heterosexual students. Heterosexual students are welcome and encouraged to participate in the learning process.
