The easiest and quickest way to change your test date is via your LSAC.org account. This will also give you instant access to available centers. Or, you may send the payment with a completed Test Date Change Form (PDF) or a written request to:
PO BOX 2000-T
Newtown PA 18940
or fax to 215.968.1277.
Be sure to include:
- your name, address, LSAC account number, last four digits of your Social Security or Social Insurance number, the test date, and first and second center choice desired;
- a valid credit card number and expiration date; and
- your signature and current date.
You may request a change to another date within the current testing year, which runs from June through February. (If you are registered for a February 2014 exam, you may change to the June 2014 exam only). You may also decide to withdraw your registration altogether. Deadlines do apply.
View current fees.
NOTE: If you register for a specific LSAT administration during the regular registration period, you are not eligible for late registration for that same administration. Once you have registered for a test during the regular registration period, you may not withdraw your registration and reregister for that same test during the late registration period.
If you received a fee waiver, you need to request a withdrawal of your test registration by the withdrawal deadline. Your fee waiver will then be available for a future test within your fee waiver period.
You may change your test center if you meet the designated deadline and if there is space available at your requested center. Note that center changes for centers outside of the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean must meet a specific registration deadline for those centers.
For quickest processing, you may make a center change online. Or, you can call LSAC at 215.968.1001. Fax and online requests must be received by midnight (ET) on the deadline date. Telephone requests must be received by 4:45 pm ET (March–August); 7:00 pm ET (September–February).
