Nondiscrimination Policy

The school practices, in all its processes, a nondiscrimination policy, which is consistent with the policy of our university.

Statement of Compliance with the Provisions of Law

The University of Puerto Rico, in compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations adopted thereunder, does not discriminate on grounds of race, color, sex, orientation, age, national origin or social status, political or religious beliefs, disability, state, disabled veteran, or veteran of the Vietnam Era, in recruitment or selection of staff, teaching and non-teaching; in the admission of students; or in programs or activities that are sponsored or held in the university system. The university also complies with the provisions of the regulations related to federal financial assistance, such as Academic Progress and final day of class attendance. The University of Puerto Rico also complies with the provisions of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Article II, Section 1; Title IX of the Law on Amendments Educational 1972; sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; and the federal law of discrimination on grounds of age of 1975, Public Law 94135, 42 U.S.C.A. Section 6101.
