Additional Information

The University of Oregon School of Law, much like the efforts being made statewide in Oregon, does its best to foster an environment that does not discriminate against any individual for any reason, including an individual’s sexual orientation or preference. Our admission process asks applicants for their preferred gender but does not let this determine whether or not a student will be admitted. OUTLAWs is a very active student group around our campus and takes part in the national Lavender Law conference every year. While our campus does not yet have unisex facilities, discussion about LGBT issues are welcomed and addressed widely at our school whether it be in constitutional law, estate planning, politics and legislation, or family law. Our school supports several enrolled transgender students and continues to support our alumni base that identifies as LGBT.
