Domestic-Partner or Same-Sex Marriage Benefits

The University of Utah provides access to certain coverage for a domestic partner of an employee in a  benefit-eligible position. Coverage is available to a same-sex or opposite-sex domestic partner.

The S.J. Quinney College of Law seeks to maintain a climate of inclusion and appreciation for diversity. This includes supporting LGBT faculty, staff, and students. In our admission process we consider factors, in addition to breadth and difficulty of academic background, such as extracurricular and community activities, leadership ability, geographic and language background, and significant work experience or life-broadening activities. Candidates are encouraged to disclose important diversity factors such as sexual orientation, age, gender, racial or ethnic identity, disadvantaged socioeconomic or educational experience, nontraditional cultural background, or other similar information.
