LawReady is designed to meet students curious about law earlier in their undergraduate studies. Whether they’ve always known they wanted to be a lawyer or they want to see if law school could open the door for another career path, LawReady gives them a head start on their future. The program enhances and expands prelaw education and guidance that may already exist at your institution and works in collaboration with you to improve student outcomes.
LawReady takes an evidence-based approach centered on helping students build the skills and support needed to define, pursue, and succeed in their educational goals. The program provides students with:
- Confidence-building and structured preparations to meet the academic rigors of law school
- A deeper understanding of the foundational skills and abilities required to succeed in and out of the classroom
- Assessments and a portfolio of work completed to demonstrate student proficiency and readiness for law school
