Summary of Position

The College of Law at West Virginia University is seeking applications for an Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the law school’s work in admitting students and awarding and administering scholarships and financial aid.  Operations in these areas include outreach and recruitment, programming and special events, admission counseling for potential students, recruitment marketing, financial aid and scholarships operations and counseling, and the compilation and dissemination of all required and requested statistical admission and financial aid/scholarship reports for the College of Law. This position manages a staff which includes an Associate Director and an Assistant Director. The position will report to the Dean. 

Education Required: Master’s
Education Preferred: JD
Years of Experience Required: 6

Additional Information

The successful candidate must also have demonstrated leadership ability, including strategic planning, budget, staff and project management. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as well as demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills, including a strong commitment to student success, are required to thrive in the team-centered atmosphere in the College of Law. Demonstrated ability to make independent and informed decisions and experience with assessment and program outcomes. This position is expected to work effectively with applicants, students, faculty, staff, and administration to communicate the strengths and mission of the College.
