Summary of Position
Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management is responsible for leading an aggressive student recruitment program within Arkansas as well as nationally to help build the Law School’s enrollment. The Assistant Dean is responsible for helping to develop a strong brand identity for UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law as it relates to recruitment and marketing while providing leadership and direction in the admissions processes for the university. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes in both the J.D. and M.S.L. programs, including the development and management of the law school recruitment plan;
- Provide dynamic, targeted recruitment/admission presentations to the campus and prelaw community;
- Achieves enrollment goals;
- Travel to recruitment events;
- Design and coordinate in-school recruitment activities;
- Communicate with prospective and current applicants;
- Evaluate applications and serves on the Admissions Committee;
- Organize events for students who have submitted seat deposits but have not yet matriculated;
- Participate in the selection and management of the award of scholarships to entering and continuing students;
- Maintain enrollment data and produces ad hoc reports as requested by the Dean;
- Manage staff to support admission processing and recruitment and outreach;
- Organize and coordinate incoming student orientation;
- Serves on the Dean's Management Team.

- Ability to travel and represent the law school in connection with recruitment events;
- Ability to multitask and manage in a dynamic, changing environment;

- Administrative experience relevant to higher education admissions responsibilities;
- Experience in developing a positive team environment to achieve new student enrollment goals and collaborate with colleagues;
- Ability to work flexible hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays;
- Familiar or working knowledge of LSAC Unite, Banner, and Workday.
