Summary of Position
The Assistant Director will perform a wide range of applicant recruitment, evaluation, and yield activities in furtherance of the Levin College of Law’s J.D. and non-J.D. enrollment goals.
J.D. and non-J.D. recruiting activities, including: meeting with applicants and admitted students to cultivate interest in UF Law and answer questions about the application process; coordinating admissions activities of College of Law’s Levin Ambassadors program and Ambassador selection, scheduling, training, and supervision; communicating with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students using a variety of media; and coordinating alumni, student, and faculty matching programs.
Conceptualize and plan on-campus and virtual recruitment events in coordination with College of Law events team; represent UF Law at occasional off-campus recruiting events, including LSAC Forums, college fairs, panel discussions, and private visits nationwide.
Review and evaluate applications for admission according to established parameters; make recommendations for admission and scholarship awards to Admissions Leadership.
