Summary of Position
The Assistant Director of Recruitment will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic recruitment plan using market analysis, digital marketing resources, and professional networks designed to increase student enrollment in the College of Law’s academic programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Design and implement targeted marketing communications campaigns to generate prospects and drive inquiries into applications for various enrollment goals (JD, MLS, LL.M., 3+3, Lunsford Academy, etc.).
Design. manage, and implement all recruiting materials, including print, email, and social media. The Assistant Director will also need to collaborate with Marketing and Communications to implement advertising campaigns, including the creation of digital content.
Manage admissions website to ensure it is consistent with the overall marketing plan and branding.
Manage technology, including the CRM system and data analytics, needs to effectively achieve enrollment goals.
Responsible for creating social media and website content, including video.
Design and implement the applicant lifecycle communication plan through the admission databases and stay current on all training and software releases to best advise as to how to create efficient processes with the systems.
Serve as an admissions counselor and communicate with prospective students and admitted students via email, telephone, text, and other related electronic methods such as a chat service, Skype, Zoom, etc.
Prepare reports and analysis of performance data to inform the College of Law as to how best to achieve enrollment goals.
Represent the law school at recruiting events, both on- and off-campus, as well as create on-campus and virtual experiences for prospective students.
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree and at least of years of experience in higher education and marketing/communications are required.
