Summary of Position

UC Davis School of Law, also known as King Hall, currently seeks candidates for an Associate Director of Admissions. The Associate Director serves as a key member of the Admissions and Financial Aid team and participates in the recruitment, evaluation, and yield of approximately 200 J.D. students each year. The Associate Director also serves as the primary point of contact for California colleges and universities, working closely with prelaw advisors, student organizations, and faculty on campuses statewide to bolster the law school’s resident pipeline.

King Hall is a diverse community of dynamic, kind, and passionate students, faculty, alumni, and staff. It boasts as a majority-minority faculty that is also half women, entering classes that exceed 50% students of color each of the last seven years, and a student body that is 20%-25% first-generation college graduates. Situated on a major UC campus in the picturesque, safe, affordable, family-friendly college town of Davis in Northern California, the law school is three hours (or less!) from San Francisco, the coast, Napa Valley, and Lake Tahoe. The state capitol, Sacramento, is an easy 30-minute commute and an affordable, diverse mid-sized city.
