Associate Director of Admissions Communications

Summary of Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions Communication manages communication, social media, and marketing initiatives for the admissions office at the School of Law. 

In collaboration with the School of Law admissions team, the Associate Director develops and implements strategic communication plans directed to prospective students, applicants, and admitted candidates to ensure accurate information is distributed at the appropriate time. The Associate Director has direct responsibility for prospect communication planning and implementation using a CRM.

The Associate Director uses various methods and systems to interface effectively with diverse internal and external audiences and stakeholders in the exchange of information about the law school and its admission process. 

The Associate Director has primary responsibility for the fulfillment of inquiries for information or services (in person, by telephone, or electronic). 

The Associate Director customizes campus visits for prospects and guests, including building tours and meetings with admissions staff, faculty, and student ambassadors, and confirms visit plans with each guest. The Associate Director also assists in planning and executing on-campus recruitment and yield events.

Education Required: Bachelor’s
Years of Experience Required: 4

Additional Information

Master’s degree and 2 years professional experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material, or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience.

Knowledge of customer relationship management tools, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365. Knowledge of or exposure to design of customer journey mapping and campaign automation. Knowledge of or ability to customize personal and digital interfaces with prospects and applicants. Ability to collaborate with communications team to leverage and repurpose creative messaging for target audiences.
