Summary of Position

The Director of Admissions reports directly to the Dean and serves as an ambassador for the Law School while executing on directives set by the Dean.  The Director is responsible for creating and implementing recruitment strategies, and includes the following duties:
 - Reviews and evaluates J.D. applications, and makes scholarship award decisions; collaborates with Admissions Committees for J.D., LL.M. and J.S.D.
 - Develops strategic recruitment and enrollment plan that is results-oriented based on data and industry best practice
 - Leads prospective student recruiting efforts including developing marketing materials
 - Serves as the Financial Aid point of contact for prospective and current law students
 - Manages the Admission staff

Education Required: Bachelor’s
Education Preferred: JD
Years of Experience Required: 1
Years of Experience Preferred: 3

Additional Information

Pay Range: Up to $95,000

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communicator with public speaking experience
  • At least 1-3 years experience managing a team
  • Ability to understand, promote and support the University’s distinct academic mission
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information and process
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, comfortable with database management and modeling
  • Experience in higher education admissions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ACES2 preferred
  • Previous Law School Admissions experience preferred
