It Takes a Village
 2015 LSAC Diversity Retention Conference

2015 Diversity Retention Conference

This conference will take a close look at what students need to excel and maximize their potential. It will identify the factors that affect student performance and why. Participants will leave the conference with strategies and tools that they can implement at their schools.

The conference will begin with a discussion on the importance of diversity, what it takes to be successful, and why it still takes a village. The next day's events will examine the barriers to success and focus on creating and teaching an inclusive classroom. The conference will culminate with discussions on best practices. The sessions are all designed to be interactive with participants contributing on every topic. Despite being held in Las Vegas, be ready to work.
