Applying to Law School

Your Credential Assembly Service (CAS) fee covers electronic application processing for all LSAC-member law schools. From your LSAC account:

• find law schools that interest you and add them to your school list, which you can access from your account’s homepage;
• click on the name of each school in your list to access its application and other information;
• use the Start/Continue Application button to access a school's application and find everything you need to know about what is required to apply to that school.

Make sure to follow all of the school’s requirements, including fee payment.

Please note: Some law schools may wish to know that you have shown some interest in their programs because you have saved a portion of their electronic applications, even if you have not yet completed and submitted them. Starting in August, you will have the opportunity to consent to have LSAC provide your LSAC account number, name, address, phone number, and e-mail address to those law schools whose electronic applications you have saved in your LSAC account. Law schools may use this information to contact you about their programs. Your consent is completely optional, and you will be able to opt in or out at any time.
