Introduction
Pace Law School offers a true campus setting on 12 acres in suburban White Plains. North of New York City by 25 miles, it offers students access both to Manhattan and to the beautiful Hudson Valley. The location allows students to take advantage of many social, cultural, and professional opportunities.
Pace is nationally recognized for excellence in several areas, including the quality and breadth of its clinical, legal writing and research, and environmental law programs. These and other programs are continually evaluated and reshaped to help ensure that they equip our students with the tools needed to meet the challenges of a dynamic—and increasingly global—legal landscape.

Housing

LLM Programs/Areas of Specialization

LLM in Comparative Legal Studies
An individualized program designed for international students whose first law degree was obtained from a law school outside the United States, the program seeks to immerse students in the common law system as practiced in the US. Students may concentrate in certain fields; environmental law and international commercial law are most popular.
LLM in Environmental Law
Since 1978, Pace has provided internationally known environmental legal education, consistently earning one of the highest rankings in the nation. A comprehensive program prepares lawyers to address scientific, economic, and political forces that shape environmental law and to work to protect natural surroundings and promote smart and sustainable development. The faculty has pioneered in the development and implementation of environmental law, and they continue to serve as national and world leaders in this field.
Climate Change Track
Focusing on climate change and energy issues, this track offers the opportunity to study the most current law and policy with experts in this new field.
Land Use and Sustainable Development Track
This new track trains lawyers to confront and overcome challenges arising from the urgent need to develop and redevelop human settlements in an environmentally sensitive, commercially viable, and ecologically sustainable manner, both domestically and internationally.
SJD in Environmental Law
A selective program to prepare scholars to teach environmental law in the US and abroad.
Certificate Programs
LLM candidates are eligible for certificates in Environmental Law and International Law as authorized by the New York State Department of Education.
Admission

Student Services and Organizations
While all students are members of the Student Bar Association, they may also participate in over 25 other student organizations, many catering especially to the diversity of the student body.
Career Services
Counselors provide career advice, guidance with résumés and interviews, personalized job search strategies, workshops, resources, and relationships with over 500 national and local firms. The Career Services Center provides opportunities for networking, internships, and employment in business, government, and nonprofit, health care, and technology firms.
