All participants are strongly encouraged to attend the entire conference. If you are a full fee waiver or a partial fee waiver designee for your school, travel departures prior to Saturday will not be approved. We appreciate your understanding and anticipated cooperation.

We recommend that you join the waitlist as soon as possible. As rooms become available at the conference hotel, we will work to accommodate those on the waitlist.

In addition to adding your name to the waitlist, you may also check for availability at alternative hotels nearby:

Helpful Tip

Be sure to make reservations at a hotel that accepts cancellations in the event that we can accommodate you at the conference hotel.

The LSAC Annual Meeting and Educational Conference is an event for the education and professional development of law school admission professionals. In order to foster exchange among attendees about professional issues and to be fair to all in attendance, the following guest attendance guidelines were approved by the Services and Programs Committee:

  • Children and guests may not attend educational sessions (includes plenary, concurrent, and mini-sessions).
  • Breakfasts and lunches are reserved for conference attendees only.
  • A limited number of guest tickets for specific evening events will be sold in advance of the conference.

However, your guests are welcome to attend evening events with you. Guest dining tickets will be available for order in advance. No guest dining tickets will be sold on-site. Each guest must present an LSAC-issued badge to enter our event area. Attendee name badges cannot be shared with guests. Guests in attendance without LSAC-issued badges will be asked to leave the event area. LSAC reserves the right to invoice the attendee if a guest obtains a meal that has not been paid for.

Be sure to purchase guest dining tickets by Friday, May 17. Payment must be submitted at the time of purchase. LSAC cannot process any guest dining tickets without full payment.

If you are one of the designated representatives for your school, you will receive an email from LSAC after you submit the conference registration. The email will provide you with instructions on how to book air travel through LSAC’s self-service travel system, Egencia. Questions about booking travel? Contact us at travel@LSAC.org.

Registration cancellations must be submitted via the online registration site prior to Monday, May 20, 2019. You will receive a refund of the registration fee, minus a $50 processing fee per registrant. No refunds will be granted after Monday, May 20, 2019.

Late registration fees are not refundable. Refund requests will not be processed after the annual meeting.

Your airline ticket is nontransferable and nonrefundable. If LSAC paid for your ticket and you cancel your flight, you or your law school will be required to reimburse LSAC for its cost. In most cases, these tickets can be applied toward travel within one year of the ticket issue date in the name of the ticket holder only.

Guest dining ticket cancellations must be submitted via email to events@LSAC.org. Cancellations received by Friday, May 17, 2019, will be granted a full refund. LSAC will not be able to offer guest dining ticket refunds after May 17, 2019.

Casual attire is acceptable for all meeting and dining functions. You might need a light sweater in the session rooms because of the air-conditioning. The average daytime high temperature in Boston in late spring is in the mid to high 70s; you can expect evening temperatures to be in the low 60s.

Time has been set aside during breakfast and in the afternoons on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to give auxiliary groups an opportunity to meet. Groups who would like meeting space should contact LSAC at events@LSAC.org. Requests for meeting space must be received by Monday, April 8.
