Introduction

Island Landscape

Located in Honolulu, in the beautiful Mānoa Valley on the island of O’ahu, the William S. Richardson School of Law is a collaborative, multicultural community of students and legal professionals who are passionate about the law. As the only law school in the State of Hawai‘i, Richardson Law School maintains close ties with members of the Hawai‘i bar and judiciary and is known for its excellent programs in Environmental Law, International and Comparative Law, and Human Rights.

Our LLM Programs (in-person and online formats available)

Our In-Person and Online LLM Programs are open to both US JD graduates and foreign law school graduates.

Both our In-Person and our Online LLM Programs allow a great deal of flexibility, allowing students the freedom to choose their classes, in consultation with our LLM Faculty Advisor. Other than our two specialized LLM courses for foreign lawyers, our LLM students take the same classes as our JD students.

LLM students may choose to pursue a General LLM, LLM with a Specialization, or an LLM following a personalized pathway.
