Does your law school have a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender student organization?

Project Equality is Mercer Law’s LGBTQ organization. One of its many goals is to strengthen a commitment to diversity within the Mercer Law Community, the state of Georgia, and the legal community as a whole. It strives to educate students and community members about legal issues relevant to the LGBTQ community. Project Equality participates in the annual Atlanta Pride parade alongside the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia, in addition to many other planned events.

Project Equality also hosts the Introduction to Diverse Student Organization Day during orientation. This event gives our incoming students a wonderful opportunity to meet new students, upperclassmen, attorneys, and members of the Mercer Law faculty and administration.
