Law School Admission in the Time of COVID-19 — April 29, 2020

On Wednesday, April 29, we hosted another live stream discussion for candidates. In this episode, a panel of law school deans and admission leaders provided updates on the evolving COVID-19 situation and answered as many questions as possible from potential law school students, including:

  • What are law schools hearing from candidates? What are their concerns, and how are they planning?
  • What are institutions doing to try to address the needs of applicants — and existing students — in the wake of the COVID-19 emergency?
  • Given all of the uncertainty, how should I plan for applying to law school?

Panelists:

Kellye Testy, President and CEO
Law School Admission Council (LSAC)

Andrew T. Guzman, Dean
University of Southern California, Gould School of Law

Julie Smith, Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management
