Law School Job Board

The Graduate School, School of Law, and Center for International Education seeks applicants for a Graduate Coordinator of Recruitment and Retention.  This is a full-time, Administrative/Professional appointment.  The selected individual will assume responsibility for recruitment and retention of graduate students for all SIU campus graduate programs.  The position works closely with the Graduate School, School of Law, and the Center for International Education, and collaboratively with campus units that have graduate degrees.

Serves as the William S. Richardson School of Law Director of Enrollment Management.

Establishes and implements short and long-range strategic marketing and recruitment goals, objectives, plans, policies, and operating procedures for JD and LL.M programs.

Monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement and in support of the Law School's academic mission and tuition revenue goals.

The Assistant Director of Law School Advancement fosters close and meaningful contacts between the School of Law and its alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, leading to regular, increasing support of the School of Law’s Law Annual Fund (LAF).



Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Law School Advancement (LSA), the Assistant Director of LSA is responsible for directing the Law Annual Fund and managing the Young Alumni Council.

The Associate Director of Law School Advancement serves as a major gifts officer for the School of Law and develops meaningful relationships with alumni who provide major philanthropic support for the School of Law. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Law School Advancement, the Associate Director of Law School Advancement is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150-175 major gift prospects. Chief responsibilities include identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of these major gift prospects.

The Assistant Director of Law School Admissions is a key member of the University of Massachusetts School of Law Admissions team. The Assistant Director works with the Director of Law School Admissions in all phases of the team’s strategic enrollment plan and acts on behalf of the Director in their absence. This includes tasks related to application processing, data management, marketing and recruitment.
