Biographical Information Changes

You are responsible for making sure all biographical information in JD Services is correct, accurate, and complete (e.g., legal name, date of birth, Social Security/Social Insurance number, and JD Services account number). Failure to provide accurate and consistent information could prevent you from taking the LSAT or could result in errors, processing delays, file reviews, and possible referral for a misconduct or irregularity investigation.

If you need to make changes to the information in JD Services, please follow the instructions below. Should LSAC become aware of a discrepancy in your biographical information in JD Services, you will be notified in writing and asked to provide the correct information. You might also be asked to provide documentation to support the biographical information change in JD Services. In some instances, a reporting hold may be placed on your account until the matter is resolved. This hold will prevent your LSAT score from being released and CAS Reports from being sent to the law schools to which you apply.

If you're registered for JD Services, you can make updates to your legal first and last name through your account. Visit the “Profile” page included in the “My Account” menu to make changes.
