In this India Privacy Notice Supplement (“India Supplement”), we provide additional notices to supplement the information in the LSAC Privacy Notice. This India Supplement is subject to the LSAC Privacy Notice and is incorporated by reference as a supplement thereto.
To fully understand how we collect, use, disclose, and process your Personal Information (as defined in the LSAC Privacy Notice) that we collect in relation to our Services, this India Supplement should be read in conjunction with the LSAC Privacy Notice. Capitalized terms used in this India Supplement, which are not otherwise defined, have the meanings assigned to them in the LSAC Privacy Notice.
Your Rights
If you are in India, you have certain rights and protections under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and its rules regarding the processing of your Personal Information, including (but not limited to):
- Where we process your Personal Information on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, with the ease of doing so being comparable to the ease with which such consent was given; and
- You have the right to a readily available means of grievance redressal by us in respect of any of our acts or omissions regarding the performance of our obligations under the DPDP Act, or the exercise of your rights under the DPDP Act.
When you would like to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act or voice a grievance, please contact us using our contact information in the LSAC Privacy Notice. You may also use this contact information to ask any questions you may have about our processing of your Personal Information or to request that we provide the contents of this India Supplement, the LSAC Privacy Notice, or any LSAC notice and request for consent in any language specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India.
When you contact us to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act, please note that we may need you to provide additional information to confirm your identity. Such additional information varies depending on the Services you use and the rights you wish to exercise and may include any data points provided by you that we may match to Personal Information we maintain in our systems (e.g., if we maintain your LSAC-issued identification number and date of birth in our systems, we may ask you to provide your LSAC-issued identification number and date of birth to confirm your identity).
