LSAT Inbox – June 2026 LSAT
Welcome to the LSAT Inbox! This is a blog series that answers frequently asked questions about the LSAT®. We encourage you to check back often for answers to more questions you may have as you prepare for the test.
Is there anything I should do in LawHub before my test day?
You should log in to LawHub at least once prior to your session with the same credentials you use to log in to JD Services. Twenty-four hours prior to your scheduled test, you should see an “LSAT” option in the left-hand menu of your LawHub account. Please make sure your browser window is maximized.
What do I need for a successful remote session?
You will need a compatible laptop or desktop computer, a webcam, a microphone, and a supported browser. You can take the LSAT at home or in another quiet, well-lit, private space that has a table or desk and access to a strong and stable internet connection. No large mirrors or glass walls that can’t be covered are allowed. To verify your identity, you will need to present a physical, valid, government-issued ID.
Can you walk me through the start of my remote session?
- Before downloading the ProProctor software, please restart your computer and install any system updates.
- Make sure your volume and audio levels are set to about 80-85% range before opening the ProProctor application. You will be unable to do this after opening ProProctor.
- Open ProProctor
at least 30 minutes before your scheduled testing time.
- Enter your Prometric confirmation number and last name.
- Complete the enhanced system check.
- You will need a valid ID and your LawHub username/password. (These are the same credentials you used to register for the LSAT.) For more information about acceptable IDs, visit Identification Accepted for LSAT Admission.
- Click on Launch your Exam, which will redirect you to LawHub to start the test.
- Use your credentials to log into LawHub.
- Read and agree to the Certifying Statement.
- Click Begin, and the time will start.
Can I review some helpful troubleshooting steps for the remote session?
Yes. Please review the Remote LSAT Checklist for additional helpful technical and troubleshooting tips.
Can I access a system check before my test to ensure my device meets all system requirements?
Yes, please visit the Prometric Candidate Portal to complete a system check of your device. Please be aware this system check tests your connection; however, you have to shut down your background applications and disable any firewalls. Your notifications must also be turned off. Please review the Remote LSAT Checklist for other helpful tips for your remote session.
What identification is accepted to take the LSAT?
To take the remote and in-person LSAT, you must present a physical, valid international passport or a physical, valid government-issued photo ID issued by the United States of America, U.S. Territories, or Canada. The ID must sufficiently authenticate your identity to your proctor and LSAC. Please review the Identification Accepted for LSAT Admission page on our website for more information.
What do I need to bring to the test center?
Please bring your valid government-issued photo ID, your confirmation number, and your LawHub username and password.
Can I use my cell phone or leave the test center during the intermission?
Your cell phone must be stored in the locker during the testing session and the intermission. You are prohibited from accessing your cell phone at any point of your test, including the intermission. Please do not leave the test center during the intermission as this is not permitted, and it may result in the cancellation of your score.
