Human Rights and International Law (offered yearly)

This course will allow students to understand how human rights are protected in both international and domestic legal systems. It begins with an introduction on the history of human rights and moves on to examine international aspects of human rights protection; this will include an analysis of the major international Human Rights Conventions. It will also examine the institutions responsible for protecting these rights and the enforcement mechanisms that are in place to address violations of human rights (including various regional organizations and protection mechanisms).

Additionally, many other courses cover LGBT issues within the course content, dependent on the professor.
